Rachel brings over 12 years of coaching experience and 25 years of playing experience to CITY Volleyball.  A four-year starting setter at powerhouse Dripping Springs High School (TX), she transitioned to libero during her final years playing club. Rachel went on to play libero/defensive specialist at nationally ranked NCAA DIII Southwestern University where she earned All-Conference honors and helped the Pirates to a Conference Championship (2005) and four bids to the NCAA tournament. Rachel’s coaching experience began at Austin Performance (2005-2009) and continued in LA with LAVA South (2011-2016) and Sunshine North (2017-2018), working with athletes aged 9-15. Rachel holds double masters in Jewish Non-Profit Management and Public Administration. In 2016, she helped to found URJ 6 Points Sports Academy, a Jewish sports camp, where she continues to serve as the Associate Camp Director.
